Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 10, 2026

1. Introduction

At Simple Calculator : Math, we prioritize your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android application on the Google Play Store.

2. Information Collection & Use

No Personal Data Collection: Our application does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, or phone number.

Real-time Calculations: Features like the EMI Calculator and Unit Converter process data entirely on your device and do not transmit your financial inputs to any external servers.

Currency Converter: We use the INTERNET permission to fetch real-time exchange rates via third-party APIs (Retrofit). This data is processed ephemerally and is not stored or linked to you.

3. Permissions & Their Purpose

We only request permissions essential for the app's core features:

SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display over other apps): Used exclusively to enable the optional floating popup calculator. This permission does not collect on-screen content.

INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to fetch live currency exchange rates.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) via our Retrofit library, to protect any data fetched from the internet.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party tools (like Google Play Integrity) to ensure app security and licensing. These services may collect basic device metadata but do not access your personal files or calculation history.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our app is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. We comply with COPPA and global child safety standards.

7. Data Deletion

Since we do not collect personal data or maintain user accounts, no user data is stored on our servers to be deleted.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
